Join the Fremantle Biennale team and artists for a special walking tour, bridge to bridge, taking in select sites. On this guided tour Artistic Director, Tom Mùller and artists will discuss the journey behind creating each artwork.

Hear from artists, Katie West, AC4CA, Daniel Jan Martin, Cara Teusner-Gartland & Sandra Harben, Nathan Thompson, Andrew Sunley Smith, Shaun Banner, Jessee Lee Johns, Jacob Diamond, Rohin Kickett, Bruno Booth and Penhale & Winter.

This is a two hour walking event across 1km, which will begin underneath the Stirling Bridge and end at Limestone Ampitheatre with a smoking ceremony at Gathering Place performed by Sandra Harben.

Please wear comfortable shoes, bring a hat and water.

Duration: 2.5 hrs

This is a two hour walking event across 1km (one-way), which will begin underneath the Stirling Bridge and end at the Naval Store.

This event will take place outdoors and has limited protection from the elements.

Please wear weather appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, bring a hat and water.

Facilities: The nearest public toilets are located next to Beach St Co on Beach St, and at the Naval Store.

J Dolan Park, East Fremantle

1 Beach St Car Park

East St Jetty Car Park (Closed during Moombaki5 – 7 Nov, 2 – 10pm)

Trains:

Take the Fremantle Line to North Fremantle or Fremantle Station, from which you can walk (approx. 20 minutes) or catch a bus to the location.

Buses:

From Fremantle Station: Catch the 910 bus to stop 10438, from which it is a short (3 min) walk down to the river shore.

From Canning Bridge: Catch the 910 bus to stop 11968, from which it is a short (3 min) walk down to the river shore.

From North Fremantle: Catch the 103/999 bus to Stop 10423, and take the stairs down to Beach St.

This walking tour will take place across 1km (one-way) along a flat pedestrian footpath, with some grassed and uneven areas.

The walking tour is wheelchair accessible, but please note the 1km, one-way distance. Visitors are most welcome to stay for only part of the tour.

Parking: Accessible parking is available at J Dolan Park and at the East St Jetty Car Park.
