The Fremantle Biennale in collaboration with our partners at DADAA have developed an Access Program offering different ways for people with disability to engage in our program and events. Our Access Program includes Tactile & Audio-Described Tours and Performances, Family and Low-Sensory Zones and Auslan-interpreted events.

Tactile & Audio-Described Tours
Experience the Fremantle Biennale through touch, sound and conversation in intimate Tactile & Audio-Described Tours led by an experienced DADAA guide, alongside Fremantle Biennale producers and artists.

Visit Gathering Place by Penhale and Winter, Tightness Times Toughness by Bruno Booth and stay on to experience Moombaki at 8pm.

Family Zone at Moombaki
Sat 13 Nov, 7pm – 9pm
Attadale Reserve, Attadale
A space for families with children with autism, our family and low-sensory zone at Moombaki, Attadale Reserve, will be available for bookings.
Moombaki presents an epic spectacle of light, movement and sound, transforming the night sky in a choreographed drone light show, re-creating the first stories of Whadjuk Nyoongar Country for all to experience.

Audio-Described Performances
Sat 20 Nov, 6pm – 7pm
Join us for a special audio-described experience of the Bullhorn performance.
Bullhorn is a powerful collaboration of Nyoongar and contemporary forms of music, dance, song and experimental performance exploring the journey of the bull shark, as it crosses from salt to fresh water, from the wardan (ocean) up the bilya (river). Taking place at sunset on the Walyalup (Fremantle) riverbank, will be a procession of performers and members of the Western Australia Youth Jazz Orchestra (WAYJO), in what promises to be an electric experience for audiences.
